Marty Goldstein of Mount Laurel, NJ, the first President of PSHP, spent his career as a Director of Pharmacy of hospitals in Pittsburgh, New Jersey, and at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. In retirement, he returned to his loves of playing music and painting. Schooled in his teens on the clarinet, he took up the tenor saxophone and now does gigs in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area. A prolific painter in the 80's and 90's of realistic art, having stopped painting for 20 years, he went back to painting abstracts. He has a part-time business, Music & Art by Marty that can be seen on his Facebook.

It is with great sadness that we share that Marty Goldstein has passed. Husband of the late Evelyn (Josendale); Father of Eileen (Marc) Rothschild; Grandfather of Kristina (Andrew) Weiss and Joseph Curro; Great-grandfather of Noelle Weiss. A Mount Laurel resident, he was a Former Director of Pharmacy at Temple University Hospital. Post-retirement, he was an enthusiastic "brown shoe usher" for the Philadelphia Phillies, and fulfilled his life-long dream of seeing his beloved Phillies win the World Series. Marty was also an accomplished artist and musician, sharing his talents with the community. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Wednesday, January 16th at 11 am at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 Du Pont Parkway, New Castle DE 19720. En lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Center For the Arts in Southern New Jersey
