Dr. Auxer has worked as a Drug Information Specialist in the Center for Medication Use Policy since 2011 and has been leading the Center for the last 2 years.  She enjoys her role in the Center because it gives her the opportunity to learn something new each day and work with her colleagues to plan and problem solve for complex issues, such as Drug Shortages.
Dr. Auxer was elected to serve the Delaware Valley Society of Health System Pharmacists Board of Directors in 2015.  She served as Programming Chair for her two year term on the Board.  During her tenure as Programing Chair she was able to secure funding for meetings in Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs that saw very large attendance; upwards of 90 people.  She has been honored to work with so many talented Board members, a very active student workgroup, and the general membership.  She is grateful for the new professional relationships and friendships she has formed by actively participating in the organization.  She is very excited to serve as DVSHP President next year and looks forward to continuing to support its mission to promote advancement of health-system pharmacists in their practice through education, promotion of research, and distribution of information.
