After careful consideration, PSHP has made the difficult decision to change the 2020 Emergency Preparedness Summit to a virtual event. Extensive discussions took place between the PSHP President, the PSHP Medication Safety Committee, the PSHP Program Committee, our management company, and our Executive Director along with judiciously reviewing the guidelines provided by Governor Wolf's plans for reopening the state and the ensuing guidelines. This decision was not made easily. We look forward to providing you with new ways to connect with our members.  


Emergency management has historically been thought of as planning for events that will likely never happen.  However, recent years have shown the crucial role the pharmacy plays in emergency preparedness and response.  Whether a global pandemic, natural disaster, or infrastructure failure, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have taken on innovative roles to fill gaps in care and provide continuity of care under extreme circumstances.

Whether supply chain and inventory management or clinical pathway development.  Whether on the front line providing direct patient care or supporting other health care workers.  Whether providing telemedicine or garbed in head to toe PPE.  We make a difference.

Emergency preparedness is no longer a luxury to develop, but is pivotal to develop to ensure hospital and health system success during an emergency.  Join PSHP as we come together to listen to state and national speakers and learn from and how to support each other.

The cost to participate is $1,000. All exhibitors must pre-register online by clicking the "register" button above. Payment in full must be received prior to the program. Payments can be made via credit card or check.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing no later than Friday, August 7, 2020 at Refunds will be granted less a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be processed after Friday, August 7, 2020.

Photo/Video Release

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, PSHP in-person and virtual meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities by PSHP and other third parties, including but not limited to virtual platforms, the venue, the host city, and the host CVB. Your registration may include technology that monitors your activities throughout the meeting, such as session attendance and booths visited.
