  2. Describe counseling strategies associated with naloxone use for opioid reversal.

A GUIDE TO MANAGING HEPATITIS C AND HIV COINFECTION

  1. Review the epidemiology of complications associated with HIV/HCV coinfection.
  2. Share an example of a model for HIV/HCV coinfection management and discuss the roles of multidisciplinary team members.

  1. Describe updated definitions and scoring systems for early recognition of sepsis and septic shock.
  2. Apply the Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC) Guidelines and best practice statements for treating patients with sepsis and septic shock. 
  3. Identify the significant role that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians play in the management of patients with sepsis and septic shock.
