Acute Treatment of Headache and Migraine in the Emergency Department (ED) with an Opioid Free Algorithm
Presented by: Justin Miller, PharmD, PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident- St Luke’s University Health Network

• Discuss the current recommendations for the treatment of severe headaches and migraines in the Emergency Department.*
• Evaluate the effect of implementing an opioid-free algorithm for the treatment of headache and migraine in the Emergency Department.

Impact of a transition of care pharmacy program on a medical-surgical unit on 30-day remission rates
