Describe the pharmacology of standard oral therapies for Heart Failure. 2. Discuss the literature supporting guideline recommendations for drug therapy. 3. Optimize treatment strategies for patients with Heart Failure according to best practice guidelines. Technicians: 1. Discuss signs, symptoms, and types of Heart Failure. 2. Describe the body's physiological response to weakened cardiac function. 3. List medications used in the treatment of Heart Failure. Jill Rebuck wrote on the Chapters: Southeastern wall: Fellow SEPSHP Members, Nominations now being accepted for the Southeastern Chapter of PSHP's newly created "Resident of the Year Award" Criteria: • Current PGY1 resident in good standing with residency program • SEPSHP member ( ) • Active participation in SEPSHP chapter events • Demonstration of contribution to the profession of pharmacy, preferably including professional society involvement Self-nominations or nomination recommendations from current SEPSHP non-trainee members accepted through April 15, 2015 via submission of completed nomination form to One Award recipient will be chosen by the current SEPSHP Board Members based on review of all nominations.
